I've been reading lots of information on here and decided to finally join. We have turned our playhouse into a coop and are hatching our second set of babies from my Father-in-law's hens. Very excited to finally have our own chickens. We live in town so we can only keep 3. They are a mixture of Wyandottes and white leghorns. Since we have 3 kids I'm thinking of getting Cochins, we don't need a ton of eggs and I'd rather have kid-friendly pets. Two of our kids are allergic to eggs anyways! If there's another breed out there that make good pets, please feel free to let me know. Thanks!!
