Hi everyone, I'm new to the chicken work. Currently I'm planning a small backyard flock of 5-8 birds. My husband wants dual purpose breeds and I'm in it for the eggs I'm looking forward to being a member and learning all about chickens!

A word of advice: Chickens are addicting and you may find your flock of 5-8 growing much larger.
