Hello from the pan handle of WV (newbie)

From Michigan. Keep reading and reading. I have learned a lot from all the post here that hasn't been in some of the books I have read about chickens.

have you checked out the raising chicks heading in the main menu. Is the guinea pig cage tall enough to hang the heat lamp? I dont know much about using a brooder as I have allways used broodie hens ,they do all the work for you .Good luck anyway I'm sure you will get lots of good advice in this fourm.
