Hi I reside in South Georgia, after relocating from Miami, FL in 2019. Originally from the island of Jamaica. Grew up with chickens both backyard and for meat and eggs. My granddad and aunts raised them as amongst a series of other farmyard animals.
I have had layers for 3 years and it has been going pretty well.We don’t have a lot of land but enough space for our fruit and veggie garden as well as 10 coturnix quails and 4 ducks. (Whispers…and accidentally 50 chicken..”chicken math”)Joined the group as it is the one that pops up with answers to my questions that are factual, sensible and reasonable. I hope to learn a lot from the group, as I continue with my own chicken chronicles. Excited to be here
