Hi!
At the moment we have two chickens, Chixine and Peep, they are golden comets and completely sweet. We have had up to 5 chickens, and we currently have 3 more on the way, a silver laced, a light brahma and an ameraucana.
Our whole family loves raising chickens, and nothing makes me smile like watching my daughters playing in the yard with them. I wish I had chickens growing up!
I own a natural pet supply store, and we are in the process of carrying organic chicken feed and supplies... and we are getting a few store silkies! I have no experience with silkies, but I am really excited!
We also have two American Mastiffs and two rats.
I have read this forum many times, and learned SO much! I am excited to finally join!
