Hello Everyone!
I'm a new member, although I've scoured the boards and gotten a ton of great, helpful information. I've raised two different flocks of Broilers (White Rock Cornish X) with some fantastic results. This year I had ordered and kept 3 pullets ( known as "The Girlz", and yesterday, very sadly, lost all three overnight to a predator. I'm pretty sure it was a raccoon. Already missing the girls, who were getting just beautiful at 3 and half months old. The henhouse was latched, but we underestimated the determination and dexterity of the raccoon I think!
Looking forward to some new cluck clucks becoming our back yard flock at some point in the future.
Just wanted to say hello!
