Hello from the Starwars flock

Hi there!

My grandma bred chickens (mostly Brahma and Wyandotte) when I was a kid. That’s how I fell in love with them little feather dusters. I moved from Europe to the US and now I have the space for backyard chickens!

I currently have 1 Brahma rooster, 1 Wyandotte rooster, 3 Brahma hens, 6 Orpington hens and a few young mixes.

I honestly am not crazy about eating eggs…my coworkers are big fans of the free eggs though

Oh and most of my chickens have Starwars names Chewie is on the picture below!

Hello and welcome to the roost. I just did the same pumpkin pecking with my chickens. It was fun to watch, though it took them a while to get the courage to approach it. Chewie is a cutie. I have 2 SLW pullets and just love them. So glad you decided to join!
