I've been lurking for a few weeks and figured I should introduce myself.
We recently brought home our mixed flock.
We have one each, almost laying age, of americana (Dottie), black australorp (Bernadette), RIR (Katherine) , production red (Penny), plymouth barred rock (Fatty Patty).
Then we have younger pullets that my daughters claimed. One golden sexlink (Princess), one white crested black polish (Alberta Einstein) and one dark cornish (Betty). Looks like the polish and the cornish are bantams. The lady we bought them from wasn't positive and the kids picked them out.
The whole family is just loving having chickens and hope to start seeing some eggs from the older girls soon.
