(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
hi im completely new to chickens and other poultry or waterfowl this is my first hatch and my geese eggs are due on the 17th my mixture of eggs on the 28th and my frizzles silkies and sizzles on the 30th
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
none just 14 hatching eggs
(3) What breeds do you have?
im trying to hatch 1 leghorn 1 wyandotte a mixture of silkies frizzles and sizzles all the eggs are the same so not sure how much of each i have 2 unknown eggs and 3 embden geese eggs
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
was using google for information about hatcing eggs and it came up as highly recomended with another english site i subscribed to both and found the english one a little unfriendly due to the fact i had made my incubator byc was alot friendlyer so i stuck too it
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
horse riding reading and writing
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
i have a 8 month old daughter, and live with my partner in the westmidlands i have 1 horse which lives with my familys horses on a selfcontained stables with our friends two horses we have 5 horses as a family unit i have a little 1 year old dog rossi who is my little angel and we have 2 rabbits smudge and wisper and my partner has 2 hamsters no name and peanut i also have a leopard geeko tiggi who is a little old now and im worried he may die soon. imqauilified as a career, a nursery nurse and i have a quailification in psychiatry which i love as after i did it i see everything from diffrent veiws and can see a much broader picture , i love to make friends and am a natuarly friendly person so just say hi everyone is welcome
