Yesterday we picked up 4 Light Sussex Hens. We are total novices to chicken keeping but have found this site so helpful already.

It's finished!! They've been in it out in the sunshine all day. I'm so proud of my hubby that doesn't do DIY he's done such a good job. Had to show anyone that would understand my excitement :) Our little girls have loved it outside. We just need to get them some things to keep them occupied x

Wishing you the very best of luck with your new chicks I'm sure they will bring you lots of fun. Raising them is a fantastic experience and very rewarding . Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Our coop arrives tomorrow and we start the build on our run as well so its all getting very exciting. Cannot wait to show you all pictures :) xx
