Yesterday we picked up 4 Light Sussex Hens. We are total novices to chicken keeping but have found this site so helpful already.

If you haven't already, check out the Learning Center. There are a lot of good articles there to help out the new chicken keeper.

Wishing you the very best of luck with your new chicks I'm sure they will bring you lots of fun. Raising them is a fantastic experience and very rewarding . Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Our coop arrives tomorrow and we start the build on our run as well so its all getting very exciting. Cannot wait to show you all pictures :-) xx
