Lovely birds! But I am just informing you that those are not specked sussex chickens. This is what speckled sussex look like

Thanks guys, your welcome is lovely. I am not a massive bird fan but my husband and daughter really wanted them so here we are. But it turns out they are lovely and I actually really like them lol. Our coop arrived yesterday, I spent the evening painting it so hopefully by the weekend they will be running around outside for a few hours in the sunshine. Will post some pictures when its put together.

Thanks "Mountain Peeps" after I told hubby I had found the site and posted he told me they were light sussex. Lol Ill get there. Your birds are very pretty!

P.S Husband is very jealous that I found this site before him and I have learnt more than him already hahaha xx

It's finished!! They've been in it out in the sunshine all day. I'm so proud of my hubby that doesn't do DIY he's done such a good job. Had to show anyone that would understand my excitement Our little girls have loved it outside. We just need to get them some things to keep them occupied x

Lol I would be lying if I said we didn't buy the coop online and put it together and painted it ourselves BUT considering when we first got together he couldn't put a shelf up I am pretty proud lol x
