Hey chicken community! Just joined in the hope that I can learn about keeping my recently acquired rescue hens. They’ve been an absolute delight so far although one is very poorly at the moment hoping I can help her live her best free range life after being in a factory for 18 months.

Sadly my hen has just passed away. Sad that I couldn’t help her but glad I found this group for future hen queries. Thanks everyone

I'm so sorry; sadly it is often the case that they hide their problems until they just can't anymore, by which time it's difficult if not impossible to save them. But she is at peace now.
