Hi there, everybody! I’ve just hopped on board after enjoying BYC vicariously for a few months. There’s so much great information here & we’ve learned a lot!!
We have raised Coturnix quail a couple of times over the years and are gearing up to have a tiny flock again after some lifestyle transitions (illness, retirement). Anyway, on to a bright new chapter!

Please wrap you kennel with half inch hardware cloth to keep rats and mice away. Rats kill quail.

Welcome! My brother raises quail, I believe he has Coturnix, Georgia Giant and Bobwhites.

Oh, definitely, you are so right!! We’ve already installed 1/4” hardware cloth on part of it…the final version is still in the works.
