Silkies are broody frequently. If you don't have a rooster but would like to hatch chicks, you can get fertile eggs of any breed and swap out hers(if infertile) and put the good ones under her.

Thank you! I actually purchased some fertile d'Uccle eggs last night! It took me a while to find them. I am probably just new to this. I'm curious to see what kind of mamas my sweeties are.
