Hello from TX

Hello,
I'm stay at home Mama in TX and we live on a 2 acre piece of heaven. We have the garden, so now I suppose it's time to raise some chickens

I'm really excited to get started! I don't know how I convinced my hubby to jump on board, but I really didn't have to twist his arm (too hard)

I look forward to having a new little chicken family, and to share this new experience with my little one. I'm sure glad I found this very imformative site with a lot of people willing to share their knowledge and passion for raising up chicks.

I can't wait to roll up my sleeves and get elbow deep! Thanks in advance for your tips and advice
