Thank you for letting me join, I have found a lot of expert advice already. My husband I purchased 12 chicks and 2 ducks from Tractor Supply Store, they are 9 weeks old now. I have no idea what breed or sex they are. All the chicks are white now as are the ducks. I know I will be asking a ton of questions. I have found some cool ideas for waterers and feeders.

you could post the chick pictures here and we'll take a guess at them you can also post photos at "what gender or breed is this," thread.

For the ducks, if you go to "Other Backyard Poultry" forum you will find threads for ducks, etc. Post on a duck thread and I would guess someone will be able to help you there.

I believe at this age, you could get fairly accurate assessments.
