Hello Everyone, Me and the Mrs. have been thinking for a couple years now about getting some chickens and making a go of it.
After a couple months of studying up on this site, we're finally there.
We decided to start out with Silkies and a week ago I picked up our first, 1 Splash, 1 Blue and 3 Blacks and they're going on 2-1/2 weeks.
Down the road we're thinking about adding a few more.
So far so good in the brooder and we're learning as we go along, but I'm sure we'll have tons of questions.
We look forward to sharing pics and experience as time goes on.
