I am delighted to meet someone who appreciates "scaly" pets! I've always been intrigued by those critters that many find less appealing. How wonderful that you are involved in the tortoise program!

Thank you! I have always found an appreciated for misunderstood animals. Lol the only weirdo in my family that took to them as a young girl even when I was told constantly how “gross or bad” they were…my real niche is working with venomous (professionally) I have actually done venom extraction for antivenin that is given here in North America…

Teaching dogs ESL helps a lot. Lol they know the words baby and gentle calm etc. Kora my red mix, sweetest thing. She wants to go lay down in with them in their big playpen. Pics of her as a pup with wild snakes and turtles.

But Eva the pure blue…little to much instinct that might kick in when they start fledging flying around all nerotic like they are starting too. but she is slowly getting “desensitized” to all that movement with less reactions…but way to intense of focus. Such a crazy high energy dog and hasn’t grabbed a toy since we got them!

Lol one minute she looks at them like chew toys that would make really good squeaks mom! Other times she just seems so curious about them.
