Just made an account today after seeing this from come up in my search results with helpful info more than once!
I've been around chickens ever since I was little, and I still have a bunch now- well I'm not the one that pays for their food, but I would still say that I'm their favorite human :>
We have four separate pens of chickens- one with white chickens that recently started laying, one with a mix of easter-eggers, silkies, bantams, and a bunch of other breeds that I don't know the names of, another with two Marans, an easter-egger, and more mystery chickens, and a smaller pen with new baby chicks- three easter-eggers and two Marans
.
We also have a few new arrivals from the stockyard: a frizzle rooster named Frizz (I know, very creative. I couldn't help myself lol), a young white runner duck named Sugar, and two fan-tail pigeons named Tiramisu and Mousse (I figured they deserved some fancy names since they're fancy birds :3).
I also live with my mom and dad, a little black doggo with big ears named Bat, and my cousin, although he likes to leave the house a lot
I almost forgot- we also have three guinea hens that wander around outside, as well as five goats- two babies called Stormy and Yukon, one billy goat named Bill (he's a silly weirdo that's also kind of annoying but also fun to mess with), and two girls named Ginger and Brownie
Ginger and Yukon are friendly, but the others usually run when you try to let them :/
I guess that's about it! We need more birds still if I'm already done with introductions lol xp
