Hello from Vancouver, BC

Howdy everyone! I'm interested in 'Heritage' breeds, though I have no chickens yet. I want to really take my time and be diligent before I do. I was thinking of getting a Buff Orpington, Easter Egger and a Silver Grey Dorking. Is there anyone else from the Vancouver area?

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. I have raised Buff Orpingtons for many years and love them for their beauty, calm and gentle temperament, and the nice, large, brown eggs that they lay. Easter Eggers, being hybrids, are certainly not heritage breeds but they are my granddaughter's favorite chickens. She loves their colored eggs.
