Hello from Vancouver Island

As you can see from the subject, I hail from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.
We currently have 15 layers (ISA), one RIR rooster raised by us named Larry (Lawrence in a formal settings), one Partridge Wyandotte rooster named Brooster and Vern, a Cochin Frizzle rooster, (both widowers). In addition I have 5 Barred Rock hens arriving soon.
We have eggs set in the home made bator set to hatch 8 Feb.
My wife and I have 2 fantastic children, (twins) aged 11. Our extended family includes, 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 parakeets, 2 ducks and a chinese gecko named Kenny woo.
I look forward to some good discussions.

Hi and Welcome to BYC!

I'm just below ya in WA State. You can see my birds on my website. I primarily raise, breed, and show Ameraucanas and Welsummers. I will be adding a few Barnevelders this year and working on them over the next couple of years as well.

I've been to Vancouver Island a couple of times. The next time I come up I hope to bring my bow up and a big black bear back!
