Hi! I am Melanie from Vancouver WA. When we moved out to 5 acres we decided we'd like to raise chickens. We have 8 right now that we raised from chicks. My daughter Kate and her dad spent a few months this summer building the coop and run while the babies were still in the brooder. Now they are all healthy and happy and laying! Kate is the real expert but I do know we have Wyandottes, Barred Rocks, a buff orpington, and an ameracauna. This is all very new to us but we are enjoying it. There are only 3 of us at home so we have lots of eggs to share. I own a coffee shop/cafe and sell the extra eggs to my customers. They love them!

How fun is that. I'd love to see how you display them in your shop. I'd sell them per egg and let the customer pick which ones they want. Just like doughnuts. Welcome.
