Hi:
We are glad to join. We had six hens till recently. Before the freeze, we were stalked by a juvenile coopers hawk. It came back day before yesterday after we relaxed confinement, so now we only have 2 hens ina reinforced, very safe 'fort knox' by the barn. Frustrating. Hope to expand our flock in September.

Hugs being sent your way. I too experienced a few devastating losses to hawks, but I find it odd that 4 were killed by one all at once. No matter what though, I’m sorry. I hope things are alright with your two surviving hens
