Hello from Vermont

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]I live in northern Vermont and we just got our first 5 chickens last night. 2 black australorps and 3 new hampshire reds. they are about a year old and we got them and a coop from my aunt who has had chickens off and on for a number of years but decided she was done. I found out about BYC by just searching info and came across a thread or two and then just brosed the forum. been reading everything I can for about a month but now I am a chicken owner. Other than that I have a wife, 2 kids, and a yellow lab, and that seems to take up most of my time. I think the chickens will be a lot of fun for all of us.[/FONT]
