I am so excited to see such a huge group of chicken lovers...boy am I going to keep you busy! I just began my chicken adventure in March and am addicted already. Started out getting 8 pullets and 2 bantams at my local Tractor Supply. The bantams are both roos, who LOVE to talk ALL day. I love them! Shortly after that I decided I wanted the experience of hatching eggs in an incubator, did all kinds of research and decided to go with the silkies. I ordered 15 eggs on Ebay, they sent me 20 and 17 hatched 4 weeks ago, all sweet adorable little rascals. I have to admit I spend so much time with them and learning all I can about them, my family is a little concerned. Happy to be here with you!
