Hello all! I'm new to BYC and have owned chickens for 3 years. I'm on my 2nd flock amd I think I found my favorite breed...bantam silkies!

I have a black hen, Bonnie; and a lavender roo, Clyde. They have recently mated and she is now broody....we'll see what happens!

Glad you could join the flock! What lovely silkies you have there! I've not kept them myself but a friend has some and they are lovely little birds and very friendly too. They have been great birds for her children who love to let them. Lovely to hear you are enjoying your silkies.
