Hey whats up, they have some quail at epps in suffolk. I was thinking about getting about fifty and releasing when they got big enough. There are alot of quail around here but not on my property and i have heard about people doing this. There are alot of virginians on here.
 
Technically, quail are probably illegal in Virginia Beach in residential areas. However, you will not get a straight answer from the city on this, and we don't know anyone who has been cited for having quail. We will work to include quail in the backyard hen legislation that we are working on with the city council.
