That blue/gray roo with the black hackle feathers is just gorgeous !!!! Wow

Thats a French Copper Blue Marans rooster that I bred the copper out of to use in the Welsh Black line. I started a strain of dual purpose table/egg birds that layed a dark brown egg. I bred out the gene (over a number of years) that passes on the red in the hackles.
