Hello there everyone!

My family and I are brand new to BYC and the hobby of keeping chickens in general. I have always, always, always wanted to keep chickens. And finally at the age of 28 my dream is finally coming true!

We brought home our 4 Ameraucana chicks last Tuesday, so we are coming up on their first week home. So far so good! Our coop building plans are in the works as we speak, and we should have a finished coop with about a month or so (PNW weather permitting of course). Pics to follow!
