Hi everyone, from myself, my 12 brown shavers and one White Leg Horn Rooster called 'Gooster'. All this chinkeny stuff is new to us, since Jan, after we shifted into our new 'Lifestyle' property after loosing, our home to a major earth quake in Lyttelton, near Christchurch. After 2 years in 'Limbo Land' renting, we are very happy to have a home to call our own again. I look forward to some interesting reading here, and the answers to many a question. Only problems so far, a hen pecked rooster, now separated till his chest feathers recover, and lice, 1st treatment less than a week ago, 4 bites to myself while treating (scratch) and 2nd treatment coming up. We are in Autumn at present, and some overnight temperatures of 3 degrees, and my 40 weeks old girls are all still laying daily. Bless them.
