Hello everyone

My name is J, and I live in West Yorkshire, UK. I have a largish garden, and I plan on raising some chickens towards the bottom end of my garden.

Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

Yes, I know nothing about raising chickens.

Zero

I don't know what breeds exist.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

I write code for a living (web development), but I also do it in my spare time. Recently I've started to enjoy garden work (sign of getting old?), and I play the Saz (Google it, it is a musical instrument).

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I am married, and we have 1 baby girl. She's at that age now where she is pointing at things in shops and saying "yum yum"
