My 15 year old daughter Katie has three chickens (we had hoped for all hens, but are now pretty sure we have two roosters) and is very much enjoying them! I am sure we will have lots of questions (she has had them about two months now) and will learn great info on this site. When they will cooperate, we will be posting pictures to get some opinions besides our own on sex.

Welcome to BYC. Roosters can be a problem - they can handle 10 hens, each. If they have less the hens will get overbred and damaged.
Roosters rarely get along with each other after their hormones take hold. If you intend to keep both you will need a lot more hens, and have to maintain two flocks to keep some peace.
 
Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. X2 on drumstick diva's advice. The recommended ratio of hens to roosters is 10 to 1. Too many roosters will be very hard physically on your hens; over-breeding them, biting and plucking the feathers from their necks and backs, battering them, and even potentially seriously injuring them. I currently have 25 hens and no roosters, and I get loads of eggs without all the aggression, fighting, unproductive mouths to feed, crowing in the middle of the night, and over-breeding and battering of hens that happens when you have roosters (especially too many). My hens are stress free and seem to be enjoying life without the roosters around. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. One of the risks of raising your own chicks is that you can never be sure if they are pullets or cockerels. However raising them is too much fun to worry about that.
