Hello all!
Colin from Granby, Mass here. I'm new to chickens and I'm getting ready to start building my first coop.
I just moved into my first house that I recently bought. I'm 24 and am a licensed union electrician.
My tool partner at work has chickens and after getting eggs from him for a couple months now I'm going to get myself 4 or 5 chickens.
I have an acre of land down a dirt road with 5 houses on the whole street so I have plenty of room for my future chickens.
The weather is starting to warm up so I'm going to start my coop this weekend. I've been browsing the forums and decided to make it out of pallets for a cost saver and because I have an unlimited amount of them at work. I'll be looking and posting at all the forums because like I said I'm new to this and need lots of tips. I'll also chronicle my coop build with pictures for the site. Look forward to hearing from a lot of you!!
