Hello!
I'm Michelle, and my husband Mark and I live near Springfield, Massachusetts with a house full of our best friends - two dogs, six cats, a bunny, a cavie, and several birds! Recently, we added five pullets and one duck (8 weeks old now - two Barred Rock, a RIR, and two Cochin, along with what we HOPE is a female Muscovie!)! That's it - no more! This is the first time for both of us keeping chickens, so we are reading like crazy! I already have a couple questions, so I am going to jump right in in the appropriate areas and ask away!
But first, I wanted to say hello and thank you all for such a friendly, INFORMATIVE place for "newbies" like us to come and LEARN!
