We are new to raising chickens, and currently have 4 black Sex-link chicks in the brooder! YAY
My husband and I moved to WNC (with our two Basset Hounds) to get out of the rat race in South FL and be more self sufficient 8 yrs ago. Most of my coworkers have chickens and I have caught the fever!
A friend of mine who has graciously been supplying me with eggs for a few years now, suggested I join BYC when I told him I was interested in getting some chickens of my own. I have been looking at your face book page for quite some time, and have already learned a lot!
