Glad to be here and had fun reading through some "old timer" posts last night. I have 5 chickens. A PBR named T-Rex (named by my 4 yo son), an Ameraucana "Cleopatra" (my son's favorite), and 3 RIRs, Martha, Mary, and Mrs. Medlock. My husband fashioned their chicken coop out of a large wooden crate from Boeing. They free-range in my large dog run and sometimes in the rest of the yard too. They're three months old now. Can't wait for eggs!
