Me and my wife and son are currently looking for a new home in our area and the first thing we plan to do is to hatch a few bantam chicks when we get there.
I've been a gardener all of my life and plan to add chicks to the mix. I've been studying up on coop design and reading everything I can get my eyes on about raising chickens.
We plan on having a small flock to roam about the yard as the please. I know to keep the hay and straw away. Learned that yesterday on here after reading about impacted crops.
Hopefully I'll have some pictures of the new house and new flock in the next couple of months. Until then, I'll be learning more and more.
