(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I'm about as new as you can get to chickens. In fact I don't even have any yet.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have all of zero
I'd like to read up on them and learn from others before I start investing.
(3) What breeds do you have?
None yet. I'd like to have breeds that are gentle though and good egg layers.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I'm really looking forward to having a pet that provides breakfast.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I love to read and am into photography. Hiking is a love of mine.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 3 kiddos (twins & a single). We have a ton of pets from dogs, cats, fish, axolotls, and a tarantula.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC by just googling random chicken questions and some of the forums popped up. Known about it for maybe a week now. Finally joined because the people in this community seemed friendly, helpful, and full of knowledge.
