thought it was a bit mean just putting a picture of the poor Blue's scabby back end, here's a pic of it's gorgeous little face... how can you not fall in love with chicks when they look like this!!!

from California! I agree with the above posters. I've also had a chick that got pasty butt and had to put it under running water, she was not happy.

Thank you, I applied the germolene, been keeping an eye on him/her, no sign of the pasty bum being back but I'll keep checking and cleaning if necessary, it seems to be a bit more active now, hopefully it's just got over the trauma of it all!

Sad News... the little chick died the pasty bum seemed to clear up but it never seemed quite right, the others have been fine, growing nicely, active etc but this little fella just didn't seem to flourish... hopefully it didn't suffer x
