I bought her from Ideal Hatchery, here in Texas. I just bought 10 pullets that year for a broody hen to raise so I was having trouble deciding what to buy, so with the exception of a pair of langshans, I bought one each of several breeds. Its not very cold here in the winter so most of my hens continue laying.
This is a photo of her when she was a "teenager". She is a lot more spangled now.
