Hi My name is Matt I have been keeping chickens for about 18 months now and it's one of the most rewarding things i have ever done :) i keep Hybrids (at the moment) and i have
2 black Orpingtons
2 White Orpingtons
3 Columbian Blacktails
2 Blubells
1 Spacaldy
1 Copper Black
1 Coral
1 Silver Sussex
2 Cream Legbars

so a good mixture with a lovely selection of egg colours
I just built a coop / Shed for the girls and that was a brilliant project I also built a run thats 20ft by 8ft which i think I will attach to the front of the shed/coop I look forward to chatting with you all :)
Matt

Posh new house! I keep my chicks in a run but as I can't move it the mud gets very bad. I let them out in the garden when I'm home and the weather is ok but have to watch out for my veg garden as they are experts at destroying things very quickly.
