(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes, I've been around them a lot of my life, but just got my first seven last May.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Seven
(3) What breeds do you have? Production Reds
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Caring for them, watching them grow, eating eggs
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Football, paddle boarding, camping, smoking/grilling, church
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I also have a 5 yo miniature doxie-pin, she loves to "check on the chickens". I have two kids; one is in college and one is a junior in high school. I am a professional land surveyor licensed in 4 states with 22 years of experience, and my wife of 20 years is an RN. We currently live in WV.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Pretty much every google search led me to here, so I figured it was a good place to ask questions.
