Hello from Wyoming

Hello my name is Bonnie and I live in SE Wyoming. I've had chickens for about 8 months now so I'm SUPER new. I have a flock of some farm yard mutts, ameraucanas, and black stars and one bonus chicken that is a golden polish. I have 25 chickens right now with plans to expand as I get more experience. I wanted chickens for eggs and meat options but I've found that I LOVE them and they are so much fun. My ameraucanas (if that is what they really are) are very shy but sweet, my black stars are bold and friendly and love to be held, and my "mutts" are old broads that run the joint. I'm working towards homesteading due to the fact that I work from home, live 35 miles from the nearest town and dislike going to town. I would like to be able to stay here and have what I need or be able to trade with my neighbors. I have been following BYC for awhile now and just discovered I could join the community today! Happy to be here and can't wait to learn from you all!
