Hello from Wyoming!

Hello everyone! My name is Brandy and I am a first-time chicken mom as of Sunday. My husband and I have 2 daughters who are excited to have the chickens as well. We currently have 8 babies - 3 Partridge rock pullets, 3 California whites, and 2 mystery chicks. We also have 1 cat (named Turtle) and 3 dogs. Well, ok, 1 is a real dog who is DELIGHTED to have the chicks, 1 doesn't care, and the third just wants to lick them. After pouring over these threads for the past few days I decided I needed to join. We will be building a coop in the next few weeks and I'm soooo excited!
