I have been using this site as a reference site for the last 3 years and finally got around to joining.

I live in Tennessee and have a flock of about 32 hens with a Cuckoo Maran rooster. The hens are Rhode Islands, Dominickers, pearl Leghorns Araucanas. In June of 2018 a Tom turkey came to our farm and took up residence on the porch. He loves the chickens and I knew he was a domesticated bird by his coloring and friendliness. As it turns out he is a red Slate. After trying to find his owner, we got him two hens in the fall and now we have over 40 baby turkeys!

I love my birds and am still learning how to beat take care of them everyday!
