New to BYC just wanted to say Hi.

Just got some chicks about a month ago. Between my Mom and I we plan on having 12 + / - depending on how many roos we end up with. Currently we have 6 RIR straight run and 5 BO pullets. We are waiting for 3 EE and 3 BR next week.

I will not be a frequent viewer / poster.

Hi Two Crows, Thank You for the welcome! We had chickens when I was younger and are now getting back into raising them for fun and fresh eggs.

Hello and Welcome To BYC! Sounds like you will have a pretty little flock. Nice you are able to get back into them, you do tend to miss the fresh eggs.

Thank You for the welcome Sumi and Kelsie 2290. In the past we had mostly leghorns that were flighty. This time we wanted a friendly variety that would get along with out problems. I think the breeds we settled on will work out great.
