Just wanted to say hi! I haven't had chickens since I was a kid. However my son has wanted a flock for years. So when we moved from Ca to Wa and had a little more space we decided to go for it. We now have 4lovely little ones! They are 7weeks old and officially living outside! Life is good

Yes of course!!! My on is his smitten with "his girls". Hilarious to see a ten year old refer to himself as Papa Rooster. My daughter even comes to help out. Our four lovlies are a mixed flock. I'll post some progression pix so you can fall in love with those tiny lol chicks too! We have Penny the Salmon Faverolle, Nina the dark Brahma (with a serious Emu neck lol), Taylor the Americauna, and Bridget the Welsummer. Nina is the friendliest by far, but they are all so sweet.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. You have a beautiful flock. Thanks for posting the pics. :o) Raising chickens is a wonderful experience for children and our children and granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) loved our chickens and made lap pets of the calmer and more gentle breeds (like Brahmas and Faverolles).
