Well, let's see. I am currently in the process of building a coop and am (impatiently) awaiting the next shipment of orpingtons. We'll probably end up with buffs, but any other colors would be good as well. Anyway! I had chickens all throughout childhood, including a pair of Light Brahmas that would consistently take best in show at the fair. Now that I'm all grown up with a kid of my own (she's two), I'm looking forward to sharing the chicken experience with her (and also seeing a few chickens pecking around in the yard)...
