Hello, hello!

I'll post them here if that's okay!

She doesn't like people and always runs away from me, so all my pictures are kinda blurry. I hope these are good. That's her size in relation to a golf ball. She's so much smaller than the other hens, I thought she was a baby but she hasn't grown any! She's definitely a female, she lays small white eggs. Or she did. She stopped laying a few months ago. I can add more pictures if needed, but I didn't want to spam.

Funny story, one of them snuck that golf ball back to their coop. Now she sits on it occasionally.

P.S. I forgot to say, thanks everyone!
She's a cutie! 🥰 She could be a Bantam or possibly just a runt. This time of year most chickens slow down or stop laying all together. Once the days start getting longer, they start back up laying. However you might post a thread in our What Breed and Gender forum for more help with breed ID .. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/what-breed-or-gender-is-this.15/

Best wishes with your flock!

Thank you! Yes, I think Bantam was the closest I could match her to, but I could never be sure. I'll go post her there next!

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.

She looks like a bantam.

I sell off excess eggs in the spring/early summer then I start saving the excess eggs to get me through the winter. I only use them for baking during the winter so I dehydrate them and then store them in the freezer.

Hello, and welcome! Nice to meet you. :frow

She's a bantam, and bantams are much smaller than standard sized hens such as your Orpingtons. She's likely a mixed breed and has gamefowl or something in her. That explains why she runs away from you.
She is a pretty girl though!
